Vehicle loan calculation
In the 2 November 2026 read, the monthly vehicle loan rate 22 banks publish on their own pages runs from 3.11% to 5.99%. A secured vehicle loan is limited by the car's value, not by the size of the loan: the invoice value for a new car, the insured (kasko) value in the TSB list for a used one. While Bankacı works out the instalment it also says how much credit that value supports and for how many months.

Loan-to-value
Up to 400,000 TRY the loan may be 70% of the value for 48 months; up to 800,000, 50% and 36 months; up to 1,200,000, 30% and 24; up to 2,000,000, 20% and 12; above that no vehicle loan may be extended (Board decision 10099, 21.02.2022).
Domestically produced electric vehicles have their own table
The limits are wider for domestically produced electric vehicles: 70% and 48 months up to 2,500,000 TRY, stepping down to 7,500,000 (Board decision 11158, 06.03.2025).
Same taxes as a personal loan
KKDF and BSMV are charged on the interest; the arithmetic is the personal loan's. What changes is the legal table being read.
Your car's legal credit limit
On a used car the limit comes from the car's value in the TSB insured-value (kasko) list, not from the asking price. On a new car it comes from the invoice. A business purchase has no such limit: the bank sets the amount and the term.
The list covers model years 2012–2026.

Frequently asked
How much credit does a 600,000 TRY car support?
Up to 800,000 TRY the ratio is 50%: 300,000 TRY, for at most 36 months.
Is it the same for a used car?
The limit follows the vehicle's value; Bankacı uses the invoice or insured value: the invoice value for a new car, the insured (kasko) value in the TSB list for a used one.
