Investment AI Assistant: deposits, Treasury bills, funds and eurobonds side by side

When a customer asks where to put their savings, you write the amount and how long in one sentence; the Investment AI Assistant sets the options side by side for the same amount and time. Bankacı's calculators work out the figures; the assistant does not say which to choose and gives no investment advice. It works in the app, under Deposits & Investments on the Calculate screen, and in the member portal, with Bankacı Premium.

The Investment AI Assistant under Deposits & Investments in the Bankacı app: under Let us work out the customer's money, it says that given the amount and how long, it works out a term deposit, a daily account, a bill, a fund and a eurobond side by side. 1 of the day's 10 AI uses taken at the top; below, the examples 1 million, 3 months, 500 thousand TL, 92 days, and where the AFO fund stands

One sentence is enough

Describe the case in your own words, for example "the customer has 1 million to put away for 3 months" or "500 thousand TL, 92-day term deposit and Treasury bill". The assistant reads the amount and the time from the sentence, turns a time such as "3 months", "2 weeks" or "until New Year" into days, and says in one line what it understood. If the options to be shown need the amount or the time and it is missing, it asks; a fund or a eurobond on its own needs neither. The amount can be from 1,000 TL to 10 billion TL and the time at most 10 years (3,650 days); write a billion or more in figures with separators (2,500,000,000). When someone asks about their own savings, it speaks to them directly.

Which options come up

If you name no product, a term deposit and a Treasury bill come up, and a daily-earning account too when the time is 31 days or less. If you name products, only those come up, with up to three funds whose codes you give, each on its own. The options always come in the same order: term deposit, daily-earning account, Treasury bill, fund, eurobond. The order has nothing to do with returns. Physical gold, shares, foreign currency deposits, crypto and private pensions are not worked out here; gold and equity funds are treated as funds.

Where the figures come from

For a term deposit, a rate you typed is used. Otherwise it takes, among the offers banks publish on their own sites, the one that nets the most interest for this amount and time, and failing that the average annual rate Bankacı users entered in their calculations is used; the average is not a bank's offer. For a daily-earning account, the one on the banks' sites that nets the most for this amount and time is worked out, with the part that earns nothing and the welcome period; if none gives an exact figure, you enter the rate. For a Treasury bill, the Treasury bill or fixed-coupon government bond maturing closest to the time you asked for is worked out at TCMB's indicative price, as if bought today and held to maturity; if its days differ, the card says so. For a fund, its latest price and last month's return on TEFAS come up. A eurobond has no figures; you take the price and the exchange rate from your bank and enter them in the calculator.

What the card shows

For a term deposit: gross interest, the withholding rate, net interest and the net annual return; for a daily-earning account: the withholding rate, the net gain and the net annual return; for a Treasury bill: the net amount received at maturity, the net profit, the withholding rate and the compound net annual return. For a fund, if you gave its code, the amount and the time, what it would roughly earn over that time if the last month repeated is worked out with its withholding; that is an estimate, not a certainty. It is not made when the fund's type or last month's return is unknown, or for a pension fund. Under each option are two fixed notes, "When it is considered" and "What to expect", and a button that opens its calculator. The card ends with the line "For calculation and general information only, not investment advice. Rates and prices change."

It does not choose or forecast

The assistant does not say which option is better and does not forecast where rates, exchange rates or prices are going. Its short reply draws only on these notes and on the figures you wrote. Before it is shown, the reply goes through three checks: words that pick, recommend or forecast, figures you did not write, and a second model call that reads the reply against the rules. A reply that fails is replaced by a fixed line.

Frequently asked

Is this feature free, and where does it work?

The Investment AI Assistant works with Bankacı Premium. It is a tab under Deposits & Investments on the Calculate screen of the iOS and Android app and in the member portal; if you do not see it in the app, update the app.

Does the assistant tell me which to choose?

No. It does not say which to choose; it shows the options side by side for the same amount and time and does not rank them by return. The answer is for calculation and general information, not investment advice.

What if I ask about a loan?

The assistant does not answer loan questions; it tells you to use the Loan AI Assistant under Loans. To a message that has nothing to do with savings it only says what it can do.

How many times a day can I use it?

The daily AI allowance is shown on screen and renews at midnight Turkish time; the Investment AI Assistant and the Loan AI Assistant share it. A new calculation uses one unit. Carrying on in the same conversation, within 15 minutes of the last answer and for up to 8 messages, and opening the history use none.

Where does what I write go?

What you write is sent to Anthropic (USA) for the answer, with nothing that identifies your account. Identity, tax, phone and card numbers, IBANs and e-mail addresses are masked before sending. Do not write the customer's name; the calculation does not need it and names are not masked.

What do the fund figures show?

The latest price and last month's return on TEFAS of the fund whose code you gave. If you gave the amount and the time too, what it would roughly earn over that time if the last month repeated is worked out with its withholding, unless the fund's type or last month's return is unknown or it is a pension fund. That is an estimate; a fund's return is not guaranteed and past returns do not show future ones.
